Meet Our Staff
John Craft—
RUF Campus Minister
John grew up in Memphis, TN. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, where he studied Philosophy and Film Studies, he moved to Athens, GA to complete a two year internship with RUF at the University of Georgia. While at RUF intern training, he met his wife, Leigh, who was also a RUF intern at Winthrop University. They married and moved to St. Louis, MO to attend Covenant Theological Seminary. After graduating and working with college students in St. Louis, John and Leigh moved to Chattanooga, TN to work for RUF at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. After 7 years, they moved to Memphis to work with college students at Rhodes College.

Leslie Janikowsky—
RUF Campus Staff
Leslie is originally from Bowie, MD. After graduating from the University of Virginia, where she studied International Relations and English, she moved to Memphis to work for RUF at Rhodes. She is starting her 11th year working with RUF at Rhodes. She worked for three years as an intern and became full time campus staff in 2014. Leslie has recently completed her Masters in Counseling at the University of Memphis. She drinks an insane amount of coffee and loves working with Rhodes students and RUF Rhodes.

James Rantzow, Jr.—
RUF Intern
James is a native Memphian. He went to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where he majored in Community Organizations and Human Behavior. After graduating, James accepted a full time job as a Camp Director with a local summer camp/retreat center in Bolivar, TN. After a year and a half at camp, he decided to come back to RUF. He loves spending time outside doing anything active, hanging with he and his wife’s two dogs, and also spending time with anyone over a meal, cup of coffee, or any activity. He is thrilled to be back on a college campus where he gets to work with Rhodes students every day.

Summer Huelle—RUF intern
Summer is from Tarpon Springs, Florida and graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC. There she studied Baking & Pastry, Food and Beverage Entrepreneurship and minored in Sommelier. Her involvement with RUF since freshman year showed her the importance of digging deeper into theology and establishing community. Summer spends her time exploring new coffee shops, running, hiking, and hosting dinner parties. She am excited to live in Memphis and see what the Lord does through RUF at Rhodes!
