Spring Break 2010 -- New Orleans

Here are the details...
WHEN
We'll leave from Rhodes Saturday morning, March 13th, and return Friday, March 19th. Saturday we will settle in and get all tools ready for Monday morning. Sunday we will worship at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, our host church, play ultimate, and see New Orleans. We'll dive into work first thing Monday morning.
WHAT WE'LL DO
Whatever people need. This will not require special skills. Last year, we did the following: lots of painting, pressure washing, dry walling, putting in insulation, roof work.
TRANSPORTATION
We will rent vans, and the cost of the trip includes all transportation.
LODGING
We'll stay in lodging that relief groups stay in provided by Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Several RUF groups have done this and have found it to be great. We'll cook our meals together there, as well.
COST
$100 pays for all transportation, lodging, materials, and most meals for our 7 days. Be prepared to pay for a fast-food lunch en route down and back. We will eat out one night in New Orleans, probably Wednesday, and that should be about $15.
SPACE
We are currently full and can take no more applications for this trip.
WHAT ELSE?
Most tools will be there, but if there are other little things to bring, we'll let you know.
