Why go to church?  Can't a campus ministry be my church?

Only in the church can you be encouraged at least weekly by people of all ages who love Jesus.

The Lord Jesus Christ lived, died, and was resurrected for the benefit of the church.  He left instructions for how the church should function and what priorities she should embrace.

In the church are spiritual guidance and oversight from people older and wiser in the faith.  We feed upon the spiritual nourishment given through the sacraments (the Lord's Supper, baptism) in the church, too, which steel us for the difficult battles of life.

Singing with God's people takes on a new meaning when people from across generations and socioeconomic divides gather together with one common and unbreakable bond, the Lord Jesus Christ.

RUF is not a church, but we are sent by the church to the university campus.  RUF is for one season for life; the local church is for life.
